We are seeking a talented and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our team as a shared resource between Mycelium Sona Biotech Pvt. Ltd. and Valliappa Foundation. This unique role will allow you to work on diverse projects for both entities, contributing your creative expertise to our biotechnology innovations as well as meaningful community-focused initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from both Mycelium Sona Biotech and Valliappa Foundation to understand design requirements and objectives.
- Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a wide range of materials, including marketing collateral, scientific presentations, educational materials, social media content, event materials, and more.
- Translate complex scientific and technical information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
- Maintain brand consistency and adhere to design guidelines for both entities.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality designs.
- Incorporate feedback from team members to iterate and improve designs.
- Actively contribute innovative ideas and design solutions to enhance the visual representation of our work.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Ability to adapt and tailor designs to different target audiences and communication goals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Previous experience in biotechnology, scientific, or non-profit sectors is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
