Hiring Lab Technicians
Designation: Lab Technician
Qualification: M.Tech/M.sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Mycology or Plant pathology
Experience: 1-5 years
Responsibilities:
- Follow general laboratory SOPs.
- Strictly follow laboratory’s rules and regulations.
- Work aseptically in Laminar air flow/Biosafety cabinet for long hours.
- Ability to lift 2-3 Kg frequently.
- Operate general production equipment such as autoclaves, pH meter, pumps, weighing scales, boiling kettle, centrifuge etc.
- Daily monitoring of incubators, refrigerators, and RO water system.
- Prepare media and other solutions.
- Perform environmental monitoring in incubation and clean room.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Supervise 3-4 laboratory assistants.
Desirable:
- Preference will be given to candidates having wet-lab microbial experience especially with fungal or mushroom cultures.
