Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the conception, formulation, and advancement of groundbreaking and consumer-centric F&B products that leverage mushrooms and other bioactive extracts.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and production, to steer products from concept to market launch.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on diverse mushroom species, bioactive compounds, and complementary natural ingredients to guide product development.
  • Craft and manage well-defined project timelines to ensure products are developed and introduced within specified timeframes.
  • Source premium-quality ingredients, establish robust supplier relationships, and negotiate pricing to uphold product excellence and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure seamless production and timely delivery of products to market.
  • Oversee pilot testing and production trials to fine-tune recipes and ensure uniform product quality and taste.
  • Devise and optimize product formulations, guaranteeing adherence to food safety regulations and established quality norms.
  • Stay attuned to industry trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics to identify fresh avenues for product innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to devise product positioning, branding strategies, and packaging concepts.
  • Present product concepts, prototypes, and development progress to internal stakeholders and potentially external partners or investors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's (or master’s degree in food science, Food Technology or a related discipline preferred).
  • Demonstrated track record in product development, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the food and beverage sector.
  • Documented expertise in successfully introducing inventive food and beverage products to the market.
  • Profound understanding of mushrooms, bioactive compounds, and their integration into food products.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, quality control standards, and manufacturing protocols.
  • Exceptional project management aptitude, including adeptness in managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Remarkable creativity and a propensity for innovative thinking when formulating new product concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset and the capability to work harmoniously across departments while leading a team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing food formulation software and other pertinent tools.
