Mycelium Sona Biotech inaugurated its research and production facility in Salem

Mycelium Sona Biotech, a new joint venture of The Sona Group and Australia’s Mycelium Biotechnology, opened its research facility in Salem. Mr. C. Valliappa, Chairman of The Sona Group; Mr. Chocko Valliappa, MD of Mycelium Sona Biotech; and Mr. Richard Jabara, Advisor and Investor of Mycelium Biotechnology, were present at the event on 21st April 2022.

Mr. Chocko Valliappa said at the event, “Mycelium Biotechnology, Australia, is the leading organization in producing mycelium-related products and solutions. I am glad we are creating Mycelium Sona Biotech in joint with them. This partnership would enhance the research and innovation and IP development.”

Mr. Richard Jabara expressed his delight in having an opportunity to tie up with The Sona Group. He was glad that the laboratory was opened just after the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Australia and India.
